HackerForce | Red Team Operations & Tactical Intelligence Platform
High-performance static cybersecurity storefront, MDX intelligence publications, and SMTP exploitation course platform built with Astro 7 and Tailwind CSS v4.
Technologies & Tools
The Challenge
HackerForce is an elite tactical web platform delivering offensive security curricula, red-team exploitation walkthroughs, and specialized cybersecurity armory listings to security operators.
Key engineering challenges included:
- Zero-Server Attack Surface: Given the adversarial target audience (penetration testers and security researchers), hosting a traditional backend CMS (e.g. WordPress, Drupal) introduced high vulnerability risks and maintenance overhead.
- Heavy Curricula & Content Scale: In-depth courseware - such as SMTP Protocol Exploitation, Subdomain Hijacking, and Active Directory Kerberoasting - required rich code snippets, interactive terminals, and searchability across hundreds of technical markdown files.
- Strict Design & Accessibility Integrity: The interface demanded a tailored “tactical obsidian” aesthetic with high typographic hierarchy, zero neon glows, and strict WCAG AA contrast compliance for prolonged low-light operating environments.

1. Zero-JS Static Site Generation with Astro 7
Architected the entire platform using Astro 7 with static output mode (output: 'static'). By default, pages compile to pure, semantic HTML and CSS with zero client-side JavaScript execution, eliminating hydration waterfalls and reducing page load times to under 300ms worldwide.
2. Static Full-Text Search with Pagefind & WebAssembly
Implemented zero-server search using Pagefind. During build time, Pagefind indexes all rendered MDX articles, course modules, and armory products into sharded static binary indexes.
- Sub-15ms Search: Client search queries execute via WebAssembly in browser memory with zero backend API roundtrips.
- Offline Capable: The search index works completely offline and consumes under 30KB of network payload.
3. Tailwind CSS v4 Responsive Design System & Typography Hierarchy
Developed a bespoke design system built on Tailwind CSS v4 with mathematical typography tokens:
- 60:30:10 Tactical Palette: Muted obsidian base (
#0c0c0e), titanium structural borders (#27272a), and high-contrast chalk typography (#fafafa). - Responsive Tracking & Spacing: Enforced standardized fluid typography scale (
text-xstotext-4xl) and tracking rules (tracking-tightfor titles,tracking-widerfor monospace headers) across all breakpoints. - Zero Layout Shift (CLS = 0.00): Explicit aspect ratios and stable scrollbar gutters eliminate layout shifts during route transitions.
4. Interactive Armory & Exploitation Courseware Modules
Authored modular content collections for:
- Red Team Courseware: Structured step-by-step labs for SMTP mailer exploitation, SPF/DKIM spoofing, and lateral privilege escalation.
- Armory Product Catalog: High-density hardware tool specifications with filterable operational tags and instant link verification.
